My career in non-profit administration and leadership spans over a decade. I currently work for the Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center as the Executive Director, and my career track includes roles as an Executive Director and a Director. As an Executive Director, I have administered daily operations, including managing the budget and staff. I have recruited, hired, trained, and coached staff. A few strengths of mine are that I am resourceful, innovative, and passionate. My natural ability to analyze a problematic situation and develop a creative plan sets me apart. I also naturally empathize, relate, and connect with individuals from all walks of life. I have many years of experience, and my career has helped me broaden my leadership qualities. I have a combination of community outreach, donor relations, grants, leadership, and strategic planning experience.
Caroline Phipps
FOUNDER OF LIVING WITH INNER ELEGANCE
I grew up on a dairy farm in England. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in English from University College Cardiff in Wales, I worked extensively in fashion, founding my own company, Muddy Boots, which supplied clothing to film companies. In 1990, I took a position at RSA Films Ltd (The Ridley Scott Film Company) in London as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. I came to the United States in 1993 and worked with British Fashion Designer Annie Walwyn-Jones, creating and promoting her private label collections throughout the USA and Europe. 2008 I graduated from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City as a Health and Life Coach. Subsequently, I founded Caroline Phipps Enterprises LLC and the initiative Living With Inner Elegance. I am a writer, author, public speaker, content producer, and life and business coach. I am a regular guest with DJ Rick Schneider at the New York, Hudson Valley Radio Station, WKZE 98.1 FM on The Up & Running Morning Show.
